ANDMORE and its affiliates understand your concern about privacy and is responsible for the collection and processing of your personal information. We have developed this Privacy Statement to describe our privacy policies and practices regarding how we collect, use, share and protect the personal information of individuals who visit our websites or use our mobile apps (the “Online Services”) or attend our shows or other events.

 

What Personal Information Do We Collect?

We obtain certain personal information in connection with our Online Services, such as:

  • Contact information (including name, email, mailing address, fax number and phone number)
  • Professional information (including job title, employer name and other employment-related information)
  • Personal characteristics (including date of birth and photos)
  • Account information (including username and password, account preferences, and other account details)
  • Information about the products or services purchased, requested, obtained or considered (including order history)
  • Payment information, such as name, billing and delivery address, bank account information and payment card details
  • Social media information (including your social media handle)
  • Geolocation data (through our app) and other general location information
  • Job application information (including resume and any additional application information provided to us, such as employment history and education)
  • Education-related information (including school information or class schedule in connection with our student passes)
  • Identification information (including government-issued identifiers)
  • Any other information you submit through our Online Services (for example, through forms, surveys, registration pages, portals, forums, comments and other features on the Online Services).

 

Automated Data Collection

When you use our Online Services or open our emails, we may obtain certain information by automated means, such as cookies, web server logs, web beacons (including pixels and tags), and other technologies.  In addition, we also may receive your device’s geolocation or other information related to your location through GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi signals and other technologies.  These technologies help us (1) remember your information so you will not have to re-enter it; (2) track, understand and analyze how you use and interact with our Online Services; (3) personalize your experience with our Online Services, including providing you advertising and content based on your interests and location; (4) measure the usability of our Online Services and the effectiveness of our communications; and (5) otherwise manage and enhance our products and services, and help ensure they are working properly.

We may use these automated technologies to collect information about your equipment, browsing actions, usage patterns and location.  We obtain information through these automated means such as your device IP address, unique device identifiers, device type, device type, browser type and app version information, web browser or app characteristics, device characteristics and settings, operating system characteristics, language preferences, language and country preferences,  referring or exit URLs, device geolocation data, general location information, error information, and information about your interactions with our Online Services (such pages visited, links clicked, features used, dates and times of access, and other information about your use of our Online Services).

Your browser may tell you how to be notified when you receive certain types of cookies or how to restrict or disable certain types of cookies.  Please note that without cookies you may not be able to use all of the features of our Online Services.  In addition, your mobile device settings may allow you to manage how your device or browser shares certain device data with our app.  Our Online Services are not designed to respond to “do not track” signals from browsers in the U.S.  To the extent required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before using cookies.

 

How Do We Use Personal Information?

We use the personal information we obtain to perform our contract with you or take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract with you, including to:

  • Process and fulfill orders and requests;
  • Provide, onboard and manage your account; and
  • Verify your identity;

 

We also use the information we obtain for our legitimate interests, which we can further describe upon request, including to:

  • Manage career opportunities with us, including for recruitment purposes, candidate screening and evaluation, and employee onboarding;

  • Perform analytics, market, trend or statistical research and analysis, including developing, deriving and compiling market research, data sets, insights, trends, benchmarks, algorithms, models and other analyses or information;

  • Maintain and enhance the safety and security of our Online Services, products and services, prevent misuse and troubleshoot technical issues;

We also may use the information in other ways for which we provide specific notice at the time of collection or with your consent, if required under applicable law. Except where required under applicable law or by legal process such as a court order or subpoena, we do not share phone numbers received via SMS messaging opt-ins.

 

Third-Party Analytics Services

We may use third-party analytics services on our Online Services, such as Google Analytics. The providers of these analytics services use technologies such as cookies and web beacons to help us analyze your use of our Online Services. The information collected through these means may be disclosed to or collected directly by these services. Interest-Based Advertising

You may see our ads on other websites or apps because we use third-party ad services to provide you with advertising about products and services that may be tailored to your interests.  Through these ad services, we can target our messaging to users considering demographic data, users’ inferred interests and browsing context.

These ad services track information about your online activities over time on our Online Services and across third-party websites and apps by collecting information through automated means, including through the use of cookies, web server logs, web beacons and other similar technologies. These ad services may collect data about your visits to websites and apps, such as the pages or ads you view and the actions you take on the websites or apps. This data collection takes place both on our Online Services and on third-party websites and apps that participate in these ad services. The ad services use this information to show you ads that may be tailored to your individual interests. These services also help us track the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.

With Whom Do We Share Personal Information?

  • Affiliated Entities: We share personal information with our affiliates for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement.
  • Your Company: We may share your personal information with your colleagues and employer in connection with establishing, maintaining and managing our relationship with your company and for verification purposes.
  • Business Partner: We share personal information with our business partners in connection with polls, surveys, contests, sweepstakes and other promotions we offer jointly with them. Where required under applicable law, we will ask for your consent for this data sharing.

Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, where your personal information is stored. If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the United States has not been recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. To the extent required by law, where we transfer your information to recipients in other countries than the country in which the information originally was collected, such as the United States, we will either transfer it subject to the recipient’s compliance with EU and/or UK Standard Contractual Clauses, Binding Corporate Rules, with your explicit consent to the transfer or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

How Long Do We Retain Personal Information?

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we retain personal information we collect about you or that you provide to us for the duration of our relationship, plus a reasonable period in order to be able to run regular deletion routines or to take into account applicable statute of limitation periods and records retention requirements under applicable law.

You may opt out of receiving further SMS  messages at any time with any of the following replies: “STOP”, “END”, “CANCEL” “UNSUBSCRIBE” or “QUIT”, to any SMS message.

 

To the extent provided by applicable law, you may (1) have the right to access the personal information we collect about you; (2) request that we rectify personal information about you that is inaccurate or incomplete; (3) request that we delete personal information about you (you can also delete your account via SMS, as indicated below); (4) have the right to restrict our processing of your personal information; (5) object at any time to the processing of your personal information on grounds relating to your particular situation and, in any event, to the processing of your personal information for direct marketing purposes; (6) withdraw your consent to any processing of your personal information that is based on your consent; and (7) in certain circumstances, request that we provide you with a copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have this information transmitted to another entity, where it is technically feasible. Verifying Requests. To help protect your privacy and maintain security, we will take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to your personal information or complying with your request.  If you have an account with us, we may verify your identity by requiring you to sign in to your account.  If you do not have an account with us and you request access to or deletion of your personal information, we may require you to provide information regarding data elements to be used for verification (such as your login credentials, other account details we have on record, or we may ask you to authenticate your email address).  In addition, if you do not have an account and you ask us to provide you with specific pieces of personal information, we may require you to sign a declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose personal information is the subject of the request.

Children’s Information

Our Online Services are designed for a general audience and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16 through our Online Services. In the event that we become aware that we have collected such personal information from a child under 16, we will promptly delete that information from our records. To the extent any linked online services or third-party features are not owned or controlled by ANDMORE, we are not responsible for those third parties’ information practices.

CALIFORNIA CONSUMER PRIVACY STATEMENT

This California Consumer Privacy Statement supplements the ANDMORE Privacy Statement and applies solely to California consumers and address personal information we collect online and offline. This Statement uses certain terms that have the meaning given to them in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and its implementing regulations (the “CCPA”). This Statement does not apply to ANDMORE personnel or job applicants.
